CAREER OBJECTIVES
To obtain employment with a medical establishment that will enable me to utilize my broad range of skills and knowledge gained from 25 years of salon management and customer service. I am currently attending Belmont College as a nursing student; and have recently been certified as an STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant).

Managing Cosmetologist: I am a color and cut specialist; requiring interaction with a multitude of distinct personalities and temperaments on a daily basis. It is essential for me to achieve a compromise of pleasing the client while maintaining a professional demeanor. Because I am also attending nursing classes, it is essential for me to structure my time to balance my attention to both my clients and my studies.

Managing Cosmetologist: I was independently employed; responsible for building and maintaining my own customer base. I also assisted the salon owner with inventory control and purchasing of new products. When available, I attended continued education offered from product companies to better serve my customers, as well as keeping myself current in professional trends and product enhancements.
