California Respite Care is pleased to offer you a part-time position as a Caregiver. The following are the terms of your employment offer. AT-WILL

Employment with the Company is for no specific period of time. Your employment with the Company will be “at will,” meaning that either you or the Company may terminate your employment at any time and for any reason, with or without cause. Please note that job duties, terms, conditions, and benefits are subject to change by the employer with advance notification to the employees. CONTINGENCIES

During your employment with California Respite Care you will have access to confidential and proprietary information, which the Company vigorously protects. Therefore, the position fulfillment may be conditioned on your execution and delivery to California Respite Care of a Confidentiality Agreement. You will be provided access to the Company’s employee handbook. The handbook contains, among other things, agreements covering Employment-at-Will, Confidentiality, and the Company’s commitment to preventing any type of illegal workplace behavior, including but not limited to, discrimination, retaliation, hostility and harassment. Your continued employment with California Respite Care will be contingent on your prompt review and submission of the acknowledgement of these policies for your employment file. The Company reserves the right to conduct background investigations, DOJ fingerprinting on all of its potential employees. Your acceptance of this employment offer is contingent upon successful completion of the following items:

Clearance of DOJ live scan (We will contact you as soon as the DOJ live scan process has been completed. At that time, assuming successful clearance of this process, we can determine the start date of your employment.)

Clearance of tuberculosis (TB) screening

Receipt of valid CPR/First Aid certification

Receipt of valid auto insurance coverage or auto insurance waiver

Proof-of-work eligibility (You will be required to provide the Company with two forms of identification, as indicated on the Form I-9 for proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.) BASE WAGES

This position will include an hourly base wage of (PC: $ 14.00 / AR: $ / BR: $ ) per hour, paid semi-monthly and is considered non-exempt for purposes of federal and state wage laws, meaning you are eligible for overtime if you work more than 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week. COMPANY BENEFITS

Subject to plan terms and applicable Company policies, as a part-time employee you will not be eligible for Company sponsored benefits.

• SICK LEAVE

The Company offers paid sick leave accrued at the rate of 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked. Accrual begins from the date of hire but will not be available for use until you successfully complete your 90-day introductory period. Details on sick leave will be found in the employee handbook.
