Pediatrics- Swarthmore Pediatrics (September 2022- October 2022)

Obtained appropriate history and physical examinations from ages newborn to 18 years old. Managed acute illnesses and injuries. Administered routine vaccinations. Assisted in getting vital signs. Assisted with vision and hearing screenings. Provided age-appropriate education to the patient and the family members. Conducted throat swabs and interpreted labs/imaging.

OBGYN- Grube Gynecology (October 2022- November 2022)

Conducted pelvic examinations: speculum and bimanual examinations. Conducted pap smears and breast examinations. Assisted with vaginal US. Assisted in hormonal therapy education, as well as insertion of hormonal pellets. Assisted in the OR: laparoscopic hysterectomies and various colporrhaphy procedures. Emergency Medicine- Doylestown Hospital (November 2022- December 2022)

Conducted a history and physical examination based on the patient’s chief complaint. Ordered and interpreted lab values, EKG, CXR, CT, and MRI scans. Performed and assisted in bedside procedures: suturing, casting and splitting, lumbar puncture, CPR, cardioversion, intubation, etc.

Aesthetics & Wellness- Refresh Integrative Medicine and Aesthetics (January 2023- February 2023)

Experience working with lasers, Botox, hormonal pellet insertions, fillers, and different injections. Conducted Botox injections and gained experience with an RHA hands-on teaching experience. Assisted in interpreting lab results for wellness clients. Gained knowledge through teaching seminars on facial injections.

Surgery- Holy Cross Hospital Silver Springs (February 2023- March 2023)

Assisted in various surgeries: general surgery, OBGYN, and orthopedic cases. Managed pre-and post-operative surgical patients. Obtained a history and physical for newly admitted patients. Plastic Surgery- West Penn Allegheny Health Network (March 2023- April 2023)

Behavioral Medicine- ISL Psychiatric Services (April 2023- May 2023)

Obtained and conducted a history and physical examination for each patient. Experience with telemedicine. Assisted in diagnosing and managing outpatient psychiatric patients who presented with various psychiatric disorders. Managed their medications, administered antipsychotic medications, and provided Spravato treatments.

Family Medicine- Elmwood Family Practice (May 2023- June 2023)

Conducted history and physical examinations for newborns to adults. Managed both acute and chronic diseases. Managed medication changes. Obtained and interpreted lab results, EKG, CXR, MRI, and CT scans. Reviewed the results with the patient and educated patients on their diseases.
