Implemented Hiring Teams:

The teams made up of 4 to 5 hourly employees, would interview the potential candidate who had been pre-selected by Management & HR from numerous hiring pools. Implemented incentive for referrals from hourly employees: This entailed if the referral which was hired and stayed for minimum of 3 months, both the referral and the referrer, would receive $300 each. After six months, they would receive another $300 each, upon the completion of a full year they received another $300 each. Implemented Trainee Coaching for current Employees: This entailed a current employee in good standing would coach & train the new hire for the job that would be assigned to them,while on the job. Basically, a Buddy system to train new hires, while the tenured employee performed those duties. Coaches/Trainers would receive an extra pay while coaching /training the new hire.

Performance Efficiency Improvement Application:

We implemented a plan : Executing the hiring of Engineers from Universities to operate specific equipment, maintain, assist maintenance with repairs, and performing daily PM’s. Line Efficiencies

Performed in-depth reviews of all product lines, to evaluate production performance. Supervisors: Trained to fill out line sheets properly to ensure accuracy. Published for viewing by entire plant members.
