America’s Premier Youth Development Organization

January 2020 to August 2020

»STEM Coordinator. This position was designed to focus on teaching, mentoring, and inspiring an interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics among our membership. However, as this was at the beginning of the Covid pandemic, our programming was by necessity very different than my experience in the same position while working for the BGC in Fort Wayne (2013-2016). Consequently, I wrote and produced a series of 13 STEM educational videos which were used as remote educational tools while the public school systems were closed down. I have included two examples of this video series with this application. During the summer of 2020, I also participated in the successful BGCSJC summer program, the only youth programming offered in the city that year. 1 P a g e
