dental technology and 5 years of
classroom experience. I am
proficient with popular educational
hardware (tablets, desktops, laptops,
smartboards) and software (LMS's
for blended learning). As a lecturer, I
have signed up to be a leader,
teacher (educator), mentor, parent,
sibling, nurturer, motivator, an over-
all support system. It is my goal to
identify students’ behaviours so that
the ‘at risk’ student phenomenon
can be avoided. Identify students

ACTIVITIES
Drafted the dental technology advisory committee policy in May 2019 that was reviewed by the members of the advisory committee in June 2019. I am the dental sciences language representative, where I (together with academic staff assistance) have initiated the multilingual glossaries, drafted the language initiatives and decolonizing initiatives and practices for the dental sciences department and have coordinated training for the Text Help software. I am the IT representative for the department as well, where we deal with IT issues for both students and staff members. I am involved in aptitude tests marking and individual interviews for first year selection. I am leading the project of editing the communication booking, which shall be renamed to- Academic Professional Literacy.
