Conduct welding operations in overhead flat and vertical stances

Adjusted rod amperage and speed to fix welding process problems.

Used calipers and straightedges to align metal welding components

Operated gas and shielded arc welding machines safely and efficiently.

Transported heavy materials using forklifts and cranes

Remove and replace steel structure on gas burn off platform.

Review work orders and communicate with prior shift to assess work needs for the day.

Consult welding chart specifications to select appropriate type and thickness of weld and metal.
