I am Damith Iroshan Alwis, currently working as Supply chain & Warehouse operation manager for the leading IT company in Sri Lanka. two decades in my career, fortunate to work with many organizations in shipping, manufacturing, Logistics, and trading field. I held executive and managerial positions under supply chain related operation categories. In my capacity and experience I have been holding a supply chain solution providing position in the last ten years.

Sourcing for trade and distribution, IFS special projects and supplies for customer services are key responsible points in operation. responsible to make sure right time stocks availability through strategic end to end supply chain solutions collaborate with procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution.

Leadership for analyzing historical data for planning and order forecasting. EOQ purchasing, operationalize procurement monthly, quarterly sale targets. Maintaining relationships with suppliers, introducing new suppliers, registration, performance evaluation and development are also part of the responsibility. Planning to digitalize operation block-chain strategy to further streamline total process.

Expertise in negotiation, analytical and interpersonal capability enhanced with experience in the field, education, and networking with professional people in supply chain field is my strength which I have developed in my career.
