Mechanical Engineer Intern Tesla Aug 2023 – Dec 2023

Assisted the team of mechanical and control engineers in designing the Tesla Cybertruck rotor assembly and testing equipment from concept layout to production equipment.

Assisted the team in performing the MFMEA and PFMEA with the Manufacturing engineering team to identify machine-critical and process-critical bottlenecks and mitigate them with design changes.

Assisted in Designing End-of-arm tools (EOAT) for drive unit assembly robots. Learned and assisted in integrating 3D vision into the EOAT for vision-guided picks from the robot. Learned about Mapping out Robot IO and worked on a path-planning program for them.

Remote-operated fire extinguisher robot: Designed and built a fully functional prototype that can be operated from a 30-meter range with a mobile app. Navigated through the inbuilt camera.

Seed Dryer: This functional prototype was designed and developed keeping the agricultural requirements of the rainy area in mind. It can dry out the wet seed by moving on a conveyor belt using 3 heating elements blowing hot air.
