* Schedule patients for various tests and lab procedures, process people charging with other departments.

* Assure a timely response to faxes, printed material, mail, or e-mail and supply deliveries.

* Regularly review patient date and information systems to ensure accuracy.

* Understand, adhere to and model Core Standards as defined organizationally and specifically within the department/unit.

* Perform all other duties as assigned.

Systems Management:

* Operate and maintain unit information systems including shift/daily tasks (telephone systems, fax machines, nursing call systems and entering and removing data in a timely manner.)

* Investigate and report problems and utilize strategies for resolutions.

* Enter and review patient data on information systems to assure accuracy of discharge times. ESI, KIDS, and EPIC reconciliation.

Communication:

* Demonstrate the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center CARES Behaviors in all interactions with patients, families, visitors, and co-workers.
