The Corporate Financial Data Warehouse is a repository of current and historical data originating from the

Corporate Account Fund Profile, the Corporate Financial system, the Corporate Budget System, the Corporate Staffing System, and the Common Chart of Accounts monthly balances file submissions from campuses who are mapping to the CCOA.

The Consolidated Financial System and Reporting (CFR) Replacement is a UCOP initiative to transition from CFR and Corporate Financial Reporting (CFS) to a cloud-based architecture with off-the-shelf software. The project entails:

Migration of CFR to Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) for the generation of UC's Annual Financial Statements using the Common Chart of Accounts

Migration of the CFS Financial Data Warehouse and existing canned reports to an Amazon Web Services data warehouse

Set up Account Reconciliation with ARCS for EPM CLoud

The new Amazon Web Services Financial Data Warehouse is a repository of current and historical data mapped to the new CCOA at the systemwide shared segment level. The data originates from the monthly campus file submissions for Corporate Account Fund Profile, the Corporate Financial System and the Common Chart of Accounts file submissions.

Tickets (issues) are tracked and assigned through Remedy tool to raise the issue

Analyzing the ticket depending on the priority level

Performance tuning of batch programs using Strobe tool.

Batch reduction time and performance timing results in better cost planning and speedy job process

Hospital Casemix protocol creates reports of the entire Bupa Insurance company.

This report will be sent as a mail to the Health Department of Australia. This is a quarterly process. Hospitals send data to the Bupa Insurance through a CD or mail. The data is uploaded as a file into server through Automation process. All the claims are categorized. Valid claims are filtered and an EOS Report generated. At the end of each quarter a mail is sent automatically to the government of Australia.

Migrating part of the project from older mainframes to UNIX and Oracle from mainframes
