2020-2023 Amity Foundation Avenal State Prison, Paradise Valley State Prison (ASP & PVSP) Avenal and Coalinga, California

Treatment Counselor

Managed a caseload of up to 60 students (inmates) providing educational classes from various curriculums from Victim Impact, Parenting Inside Out, Anger Management, and Reentry into society. Classes were 3 hours each with a break in between. Individual counseling sessions at 0ne hour each. Documented each and all contacts in ARMS and/or OMS programs as well as devised Treatment Plans and updates to treatment plans bimonthly with 3 goals each, 3 goals per objective, and 3 tasks per goal. Completed exit planning when the students neared their release dates.

2017-2020 Corecivic Male Community Reentry Program (MCRP) San Diego, California

Treatment Counselor

Managed an average caseload number of 25 and up to 100 participants, while the contract called for 15 participants per counselor, during their reentry into society and the community in their transition from prison.
