INTRODUCTION

Frank Haas has over 23-Years experience in Estimating which included 15 years of Multifamily Estimating for developer/builders and general contractors. Frank has solicited compiled and analyzed subcontractors and vendors proposals during the bid process for large multi million dollar projects and has developed detailed Excel Spreadsheets to be used for takeoffs and bid comparison for Divisions 1-50. Frank is currently running a Estimating and Consulting company that offers Estimating services for General Contractors and Subcontractors. The Consulting Service also includes setting up of Estimating Departments and training of Estimators for Clients. Frank is also proficient in MC2, Timberline Estimating and On Center Software. Frank also worked in a Mentor-Protégé Program between Turner Construction and 3i Construction in 2010 as part of the Estimating Team bidding both DISD and FWISD Bond Projects ranging from 5 to 40 million in value

Frank earned his certification as a Professional Estimator in 2005 from the American Society of Professional Estimators. Since that time Frank has been the President of the local chapter (2005 – 2008) and currently serving on the ASPE National Education Committee. The Education Committee is responsible for overseeing on line Estimating Courses on the National Website and the National Estimating Academy run each summer offering a variety of courses to assist Estimators in continue education.
