Oversee Entire Store and all departments. Was the lead in all departmental concerns.
Worked with Department Heads. Made sure the merchandise was fresh and full. Helped troubleshoot with vendors to make sure product was stocked and on time.
Clean and safe departments. Worked with the Health department to make sure product was safe to eat and store was clean for customers and fellow employees.
Operations Manager from 2008-2011. Because of my success as a Bakery Manager, I applied for the Bakery Operations Manager for Albertsons in the Las Vegas Area. In this position, I was responsible for 17 Bakeries and 10 Starbucks in my Area. This position required me to keep an eye on how each Bakery was producing as well as trouble shoot and assist Store Directors if the Bakery wasn’t meeting the metrics set out for each store. I had to report weekly on metrics for each store. If I had a department that was struggling, I would travel to the store and meet with the Bakery Manager and Store Director to see what I could do to assist. I also had a hand in choosing new department heads and if necessary, demoting and/or terminating associates.
Bakery Manager from 1995-2007. During this time I oversaw 10-15 people. It was my responsibility to do Inventory, write orders, hire, and train new associates, oversee different holiday sets and turnovers. The departments were expected to hit various metrics such as labor, sales and shrink numbers. I always ran a department that had positive sales dollars year after year while keeping Shrink and Labor dollars in check.
