L-3 was opening a lab, and hiring a large amount of people. I could transfer to this new lab, where I could learn new skills and use my training and certification, Electromechanical Assembly from the Salt Lake Community College. I have IPC 610, IPC 620 and J-Std 001.
I currently work in the VPF lab on various products, such as the Rovers, Servo Antennas, used Satellites and Navigation systems. I just recertified my IPC 620 and J-Std 001 certifications at L-3. I perform mechanical, wiring and soldering operations. Torque equipment, leak tester machines. Follow engineer processes and documentation, Use Computer programs for all assembly procedures. Use electrical and mechanical tools, and measuring for accurate dimensions.
