Work as a Service Executive as a team leader (led team of 5 mechanics) to provide service and maintenance to Government Transportation Vehicles (Heavy Commercial Vehicles).

Works on troubleshooting and diagnostics for any mechanical (Engine, Powertrain, Brake system, Wheel alignment failure) and electrical problems (AMT, ECU, Transmission control module, interior and exterior lights and driver assistance systems problems) in vehicles.

Prepared Product Failure reports which helpful in product future developments to minimize failure.

Trainings and Project experience: -

1. 3D printing Heat exchanger project. (Funded by ARPA-E) May 2019-Jan 2020.

We are developing small scale 3D printed model of heat exchanger. We are working on simulation as well as experimental aspect. In modelling, we are looking for various size features (from 1mm to 5mm) for heat exchanger with different spacing to improve overall heat transfer. Also, we simulate for different inlet manifolds to direct the flow toward features and base plates to increase the conduction heat transfer. 2. Next Generation HVAC system funded by Ford Motor company Jan 2020- Dec 2020.

In this project we are modifying basic Vapor Absorption Refrigeration system by introducing LiCl as a medium.

We tried to use piezo-electric effect in Vapor Absorption Refrigeration cycle to enhance the overall COP of system.

3. Thermal storage in HVAC May 2020- Dec 2020.

Also worked on another HVAC modification project. In this project, we are working on redesign the conventional HVAC system for Grid Efficient Building project. We are using thermal energy storage system to increase overall COP of refrigeration system. We utilize micro-level cooling effect by utilizing heat of vaporization.

Also, planning to use stored heat for domestic water heating purpose to overcome the power consumption.

Developed combine cycle simulation code in EES and worked on funding proposal which is submitted to national laboratory.

4. ADAS Feature Model Development and Model in Loop Jan 2019- Aug 2020.

Work on idle speed control, fuel injector control, active suspension control, intelligent cruise control, dynamic programming projects in Automotive Control System course. In all projects, we developed dynamic models and implement different controller such as PID, LQR and MPC controllers.

In control system course, completed three projects in feedback control system design for given output requirements. Also, in AI Based automation system with python course, works on collision avoidance system for autonomous vehicles.

5. Embedded System for HIL Testing and Lab Setup. May 2019-Aug 2020.

Developed a HIL test setup for vehicle components and part of control system validation using a model-based control system approach to test fuel injector and throttle by wire controller using the MATLAB Simulink MotoHawk. Obtained code by using auto code generation from the model developed and flashed it on the MotoTron ECU-ECM-565-128.

Developed Vector CANoe configuration for communication between the two ECU used for throttle- by-wire system and verified real-time CAN message on the Bus using Vector CANoe tool.

Completed stateflow controller design for HEV powertrain distribution strategy and HEV power split control with engine and stepper motor control.

Also developed discrete fuel injection and engine throttle control in live lab. In this, we developed P, Pi and PID controller for each system and found out best suited controller for system in real time.

Technical Skills: -

Thermal: Design & analysis of various thermal systems like IC. Engines, Refrigeration & air conditioning. Completed Principal of energy conversion, Phase change courses in masters.

Control system design: - Design various types of controllers such as PID, MPC, LQR, data-driven control. Also, I can on working on embedded control system, continuous and discrete time system control design.

Successfully completed Advanced Powertrain Instrumentation & Experimentation, Diesel engine control courses. Advanced Heat Transfer, Control system and Intermediate Thermodynamics and GT Power course.

Worked on use of AI in heat transfer phenomenon project for Advanced Heat Transfer course. We are trying to implement AI concepts in nucleate boiling phenomenon to improve the overall heat transfer
