Duties: Responsible for all aspects of safety and security of the resort. Assist with oversite of other property locations as requested by National Account Portfolio Manager.

Manage and direct all security operations of the resort to ensure the safety of all guests, employees, and visitors.

Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and development of security personnel.

Provide direction on guest security, internal investigations, asset protection, loss prevention, workplace accidents, governmental security requirements, and safety issues.

Review all security reports, along with CCTV, and investigations of incidents reported for management and claims.

Developed and implemented Safety Incentive Program, Site Specific for the resort.

Emergency Procedures, Hurricane Procedures, Patrol Specific Procedures, and Security Operation Procedures routinely updated for the resort.

Developed lead measures to increase the guest satisfaction survey scores for safety and security.

Trained new security directors at new transition properties.

Complete and review payroll for security personnel, ensure licensing is compliant with state requirements.

Perform unannounced inspections of security staff operations.

Liaison with local police department and fire departments to review emergency preparedness procedures, along with review of crime trends in area and at the resort.

Conducting random inspections of the property for any potential safety risks Review of electronic tour watch (Heliaus Platform) to ensure security patrols of assigned area

Review and monitor of the Health & Safety Audit Program (Loss Prevention Audit) to ensure compliance with OSHA, and regulatory standards.

Complete performance evaluations for security staff, and issue disciplinary corrective actions as needed.

Prepare monthly safety committee meeting agenda and coordinate meeting with all staff members of all departments.

Conducts initial safety training for employees during their OJT, Job Safety Analysis, and maintains documentation of the OJT training with WinTeam..

Update Emergency Response Plan with accurate information for emergency preparedness.

Update and review of Job Safety Analysis with employees as required

Training and certification of security staff along with all department staff on CPR /AED / First Aid to ensure multiple employees per department are certified,and each shift has multiple employees are certified.

Work History: New York State Corrections Officer June 1982 – September 2008 Retired 26 years law enforcement working at Clinton Correctional Facility

Duties: Maintaining the order of the facility to ensure the safety and security of the inmates, the public, and personnel.

Performing inspections and searches of inmates, buildings, vehicles, and facility grounds for potential health, safety, and security risks.

Preparing daily fire and safety inspection reports of assigned areas. Reporting to supervisors all potential security risks and taking action to minimize problems before they occur.

Writing disciplinary reports as needed and applying the laws, rules, and regulations of the department, facility, and state.

Supervising inmates to include all work details, scheduling individual job assignments and conducting performance evaluations on assigned workers.
