Work Experience

Customer Service Representative

Express Employment Professionals - Texarkana, AR

September 2023 to Present

While working through Express, I currently am temporarily working at the City of Atlanta as a customer service representative with processing water bill payments and have enjoyed it! However, I was asked to work here as a temporary fill in over the past month. I have learned the Incode Central system along with email sending, processing payments, and discussing the history of their account if needed. Assistant Area Manager

Paradise Quick Stop - Texarkana, TX

November 2014 to August 2023

I currently have the experience as the Assistant Area Coach of Dossani Paradise. Since I first start with them I was graveyard cashier. Then moved to AGM. Stayed AGM for 4 years. Then promoted to General Manager. In December 2022, I was promoted to Assistant Area Coach where I presently am at. I had 4 stores under me and help my boss with 2 of hers. As an Area, I approve payroll, check on the entries of my stores paperwork to verify it has been entered correctly, call in maintenance issues for service. Such as PSI, D&H, 4 Corners for pump issues. I take on massive responsibility on a daily basis. I help to audit slot game machines and send a lot of time communicating with my upper bosses. Inventory control is a very large part of my job as well along with sales. Listed below are some things I have done as a GM.

I worked with my employees, and try my best to make every customer happy! I work 55 + hours every week with only 1 day off and have since 2016. I am experienced in GSC orders, bank deposits, Excel, and Microsoft Word. Along with much much more. I create schedules, do write ups and terminations, and hire people through Paycom Onboarding. I also fully communicate with each vendor to not have my store over ordered. I fully understand the importance of being to work on time and giving my all to a job. I also am responsible for counting every department in my store on a weekly basis as inventory is extremely important.

Assistant Manager/Cashier

DAY AND NITE - Maud, TX

December 2008 to May 2013

Responsibilities

When I first started working at this store, I cleaned the store, stocked shelves, counted cigarettes, and ran the shift report at the end of my shift. Customer service was the main thing! We made everyone happy if we could. After about the first year or so, I became assistant manager. Then I started opening the store on weekends and on the vacation days my boss took. While being assistant manager, I became more responsible of paperwork, deposits, fax's, and etc. It wasn't too long, I started placing the information of the invoices in the computer system to have them all ready for the office first thing Monday mornings. Also, I had to do inventories on all the keys (departments). My boss and I were the only people doing them. We had 15 keys and all month to complete the counts. So we would do approximately 3-5 inventories every week, so we would not me too busy at the end of every month. Grocery ordering and tobacco ordering! Always done this once a week every week on Tuesdays. Using all different kinds of machines to do ordering and invoice check ins.

Accomplishments

I had a great impact on this job. Never mattered if it was day time or night time. I was always there doing the best that I could to always stay ahead. I was respected by many for all the hard work I done especially while being assistant manager.

Skills Used

Using all the different machines and all the programs on the computer was a challenge at first but in about a months time I had it all down! I already knew how to type and 10-key! That was a plus and made my job easier.

Telemarketer

Special Data Processing - Clearwater, FL

July 2004 to April 2005

Responsibilities

It was inbound calls! Loved it! I answered calls to enter people in a sweepstakes and then pitched a magazine sale. I would ask the person which 3 magazines they were interested in and hope to get an answer. If I did not get told then I would ask about their hobbies to help select and offer a magazine of their interest. My goal was to make 10 sales a day! Accomplishments

I didn't really accomplish much here. I did learn how to rebuttal pretty good! Skills Used

Didn't do much on the skills used. I guess I was a natural. Just showed communication. Telemarketer

Ramada Resorts - Clearwater, FL

February 2004 to July 2004

Responsibilities

This job consisted of phone sales also. The customers were all sent out cruise packets and vouchers they could call and claim. What they didn't know was that my job was to tell them how great of a time they would have and then ask for $700.00 off their credit cards. That was very hard to do. Cashier/Customer Service

Pasco's #6 - Texarkana, TX

March 2003 to January 2004

Responsibilities

This store used to be Texaco when I worked there. Now it is a Shell station on Summerhill Rd. My job duties here were to check the fuel tanks, check in vendors, clean and rotate items. Also, I had to face front shelves, wait on customers, bag ice and take out trash. Every day I done reports, audits, inventories, invoices, and lots of paperwork. I worked long hours here due to being open all night. We didn't ever close but still had to have everything prepared for the next shift. Cashier/Customer Service

McDonalds - New Boston, TX

June 2000 to May 2002

Responsibilities

I learned a lot working here. I started working nights here when I was still in school. After I graduated, I took on more hours and more responsibility. First I was taking orders on a computer and counting money. Also keeping the lobby clean. Such as wiping tables, sweeping and mopping the floor, and taking out the trash (inside and out). The longer I worked here, I began to work the drive thru window. Both 1 and 2. Then after doing really well at taking orders from people and collecting others money at the same time, I moved up. Not in position, just in knowledge. I was placed in the grill area. There I started dressing the food and putting the burgers together and learning what came on each and every kind of sandwich. It wasn't long, I moved to the other side of the grill where I learned to cook all the different kinds of meats and drop items of certain amounts in the grease. When I mastered all this, I began to open the store. Since I knew all the parts of the store, I was placed anywhere the managers needed me! Education
