Illustrations Editor for three hardcover books; the critically acclaimed “Oceans: An Illustrated Atlas," “The Letter and the Scroll, What Archaeology Tells Us About the Bible” and “The Uncommon History of Common Things.” I photo edited the Society’s first iPad app; ‘Atlas’, as well as several online photo galleries.

Lead photo editor for Welcome Screen and special programming experiences. I worked with multiple photo agencies, internal copyright attorneys and quality assurance teams to ensure AOL standards were maintained. Lead photo editor for AOL’s Emmy award-winning Live8 coverage. Photo editor for the network television game “Gold Rush,”and the Ellen Show ‘Wish You Were Here’ experience.
PHOTO CONSULTANT, FACEBOOK, PALO ALTO, CA — 2004
I was asked, working with a Page Designer, to advise on all photo aspects of Facebook’s user experience. I mocked-up several solutions for the user’s profile photo, galleries, and image archive. I produce a selection of image size and optimization to speed page loading and reduce server storage needs.
PHOTO ASSIGNMENT EDITOR, THE WASHINGTON TIMES, WASHINGTON, DC. — 1999-2004
I managed the newspapers sixteen photographers in their daily assignments. Coordinating with the editors of each department, responsible for representing the department at the twice daily budget meting. Primary duty was to plan and implement coverage of all news and sporting events, daily and long-term. I was the lead photo editor on the staff’s Pulitzer Finalist photo story of the DC snipers terrorism.
PROGRAM COORDINATOR, CORCORAN COLLEGE OF ART + DESIGN, WASHINGTON, DC. — 1995-2002
FOCUS on Photojournalism - a one week intensive educational program held each summer. Initially started with twelve college students for credit and then opened-up to high school seniors from across the country. I grew the program to 100 students each summer.

Member of a three-person team which created the Photojournalism BFA program. I also oversaw students progress for the first two years of the program.
