Worked closely with the Owners and CFO of Legacy Logistics, a sister company to Bailey's Moving and Storage, by assisting in obtaining both Blanket and Customer Specific pricing for their LTL customers both Foreign and Domestic. Assisted LTL Customer Service by loading in new pricing into the TMS (Transportation Management System) and tested it for accuracy on both our side and the carrier’s side. Built relationships with the LTL carriers by trying to find out which lanes operated best for them, and which did not so we could obtain the best pricing possible and having the accounts operate positively financially for both parties. Helped LTL Customer Service by taking calls and entering loads into the system when they were busy and was responsible for all LTL after hour calls. Worked closely with internal Sales and the Carriers Sales teams by going to the customers location if they were local or having NetMeeting and Conference Calls. Helped both Internal Sales and the Carriers Sales with our onboarding process and addressed any questions or concerns they may have had.

Managed a USDA Certified Organic Ranch by maintaining and complying with all USDA requirements to grow and produce crops within their guidelines. Harvested over 38 different fruits, berries and vegetables and prepared them for pick up from local vendors or would make deliveries to retail grocery stores. Worked directly with both Regional and National LTL Carriers to obtain both Blanket and Customer Specific Pricing. Increased revenue from $25M annually in LTL sales to $40M+ in less than 2 years due to relationships with the carriers and exceptional negotiation skills with pricing. Rebuilt all (SMC) Pricing Tariffs in the TMS to assure accuracy on quotes and implemented XML for the carriers that were available. Created routing guides for employees to ensure the customer was getting the fastest transit times at the lowest possible cost available. Developed presentations and reports for the Owners, Directors and larger customers to show potential savings in areas that need additional attention to maximize profit and efficiency.
