PERSONAL/VOLUNTEER INITIATIVES
I left the medical work field in 2007 to have my son. I have spent the last 9 years raising a child with Autism. I am an active volunteer for Hospice of Holland, and help with volunteering events. I am active in the PTA. I am the representative for Pine Creek Elementary as a member of the executive board of directors for the West Ottawa Educational Foundation. Which includes helping teachers write grants for funding. I am also on the Marketing/Communications/Fundraising team for the foundation. I have spent the last year and a half updating my skills at the M-Tec center.
I am excited to have re-entered the medical working community, and use my skills to enrich the lives of the patients and community I serve.
