Accountable for the complete operations, sales, and profitability of a 97 room Extended Stay Hotel. Property maintains a consistent occupancy of 90 - 95 percent. Under my leadership, the property consistently outperforms our comp-set with a 120 - 130 percent index on the Star Report.

Complete Operations of Full-Service Travel Agency. Responsibilities include marketing, soliciting new clients, booking Travel paying attention to the tedious details of each clients’ trip. I built the agency to over 150 clients. I worked extensively with the Sabre GDS system. I specialized in International Travel & Escorted Tours, Leisure Travel, and Corporate Travel. Business was moved from a store-front office to a home office setting at the start of the Pandemic. Currently, I am not currently active in this business. I turned it over to my wife and daughter.

I consulted with independent hotel owners to see how my services could best serve their property(s). Generally, I created and executed action plans in a Task Force capacity. Once the property was back on track and performing at its maximum potential, I moved on to the next contract. The issues I worked on and resolved were either Operations, Sales and Marketing, Food and Beverage, or Guest Service Recovery.

Accountable for the success of twenty-one Select-Service and Full-Service Hotels located on the East Coast. Brands included Hampton, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Suites, Comfort Inns, Ramada, Wyndham, and Key West Inns, coached and mentored an excellent team of General Managers in achieving both their financial and sales goals on a consistent basis. I excelled at creating and approving budgets for all properties, maximizing rev- par, ensuring cost per occupied room goals were reached, as well as ensuring all customer service goals were met. Position required 95 percent travel. Royco Hotels managed 121 franchised properties for Supertel Hospitality. The ownership decided to have four Regional Management Companies manage the portfolio when Royco’s contract expired. The company and all employment positions dissolved.

Responsible for entire operations of boutique style hotel including overseeing Guest Services, Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, Catering, Food and Beverage, Accounting, and Human Resources. Through excellent revenue management, annual revenues exceeded three million dollars with a 53 % NOI. I was also responsible for the coordination and completion of a one- million-dollar renovation while maintaining 80 % occupancy. Increased Guest Service Scores 21 Percent.

Over the last three years, I have been a volunteer Mentor for multiple students in grades 4 – 12. Most of my mentees have been children that live in single parent homes where the parents often had multiple jobs just to make ends meet. This often resulted in their children being home alone for hours every day. I became the male figure in the students’ lives, giving them 24-hour access to me should they have a crisis, or just needed an ear to listen. I also hold them accountable for their responsibilities at both school and home. I have been greatly blessed to be a positive influence and make a difference in a child’s life.
