Trying something new. Needed to find work since it is very difficult to satisfy requirements for unemployment and I have interviewed with them in the past but I took the position with STSI. I have been working for the district from late December till May when school was let out for the Summer. A substitute is not allowed to teach Summer School.

This was to be a temporary assignment from the start of the BOD up until the 60% hand off for the project.

I supported other Revit designers in the office who do not have my skill sets to help better themselves. Moved to Electrical Engineering department when Mechanical was transferred to another office to prevent a shutdown. Worked under one company’s PEs to develop and design process tanks and control building for Miami/Dade County Water and Sewer District. Duties included design and layout of the buildings and coordinating with other disciplines of the systems inside the building. Preparing preliminary construction documents for approval by the customer. MWH uses Revit MEP, Architecture, & Structural 2015. Other products used AutoCad MEP 2015, Bentley ProjectWise Explorer and Microsoft Office 365 Suite. This is a short term Contract Temporary position.

The reason I was brought on was to do modeling work for production expansion project using Revit. This was a temporary position.

This is a classified project for a local branch of a law enforcement agency. This was a temporary position very short term. Involved in the retail remodeling area of mechanical engineering working on 15 Steve and Barry's retail stores, four different JCPenney stores around the country, four different hotels in the Cincinnati area including using a Mitsubishi Citi-Multi System, three Charlotte Rousse stores around the country, and a local Japanese steak house in Colrain Township. All projects involved doing HAP load calculations to confirm the load required for each space and the lead engineer confirmed all calculations and approved all projects. This was a contract position.

Specialized in the automation of HVAC Control of Commercial Systems and Design/Build of Commercial HVAC Projects. I worked with piping systems that dealt with cooling plant and boiler plant operations. Also design and installed CCTV systems

While owning my own business, my company participated in these types of projects:

Installed 7 HVAC systems for a local orphanage

Remodeled 7 floors in the 5/3 main office tower which also included the new bank vault and the executive floor of the bank. System included setting a rooftop unit and installing 39 VAV boxes.

Preformed work in over two dozen banking centers and bankmarts. Also included lighting retrofits to banking centers in their drive-thru areas; installed an energy-management system in a Portsmouth, OH main office for the whole 5 story building.

On Design build projects we undertook it was required for us to perform load calculations for the space to renovated or built.

Improvements to recently installed Johnson Facilitator energy management system located in a 4 story building owned by 5/3 Bank in Northern KY Including additional controls to totally automate the system so there would not be the need to have an onsite operator to maintain discharge temperatures of the air handlers for example. Description of other improvements upon request.

Designed and Installed 50 Camera security system for another contractor at a Burlington Coat Factory in Detroit Mi.

Sold Trane, Carrier, York, and Westinghouse HVAC systems, up to 15 ton package rooftop units.

Worked as DDC Technician in the pharmaceutical industry for a local manufacturer, a few buildings in the Cincinnati area, and as a fire alarm technician in the Dayton area.

Worked and eventually headed the team to install the CSI INET System 7700 Energy Management System in the 5/3 Banking Center Complex in Downtown Cincinnati. I was the sole programmer during the time and I headed the controls installation team. Designed and built control systems for lighting, HVAC, fire protection, and alarms using various energy management systems containing analog, digital, and communication circuits up to 3000 points.

Electronic Technician:

Performed layout, design, etching, and wiring of printed circuit boards. Built and installed computer systems including communications wiring. For a time in the mid-80’s, worked for Restor Communications. Duties included repairing central office equipment such as microwave circuit boards and C.O. switching grids

Commercial and Industrial Electrician:

Designed layout blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and ladder diagrams. I installed various types of wiring. Maintained inventory and ordered materials to complete jobs in progress. I performed layout, assembly, and wiring of electrical main and sub-panels and motorized carriers.

July 2011 – October 2013: (Graduated) Reentering school after 28 year absence by being out there in the real world. I am finishing my studies to get my Degree. Currently working on Management course requirements for this degree. I am in my Senior year. I was on the Dean’s list.

DeVry Institute of Technology Pursued the Bachelors of Applied Science Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Columbus, Ohio. 1982 - 1984. Reentering their Technical Management Degree program to finally obtain my Bachelor’s Degree. I have over 73 credit hours forwarded from my former degree.
