MySQL break down, break down the single huge MySQL servers into hundreds of small databases, better stability and performance.

Follow the best practice, work with other teams to add the primary key for each table. Use the partition to replace delete, better performance, reduce the conflicting. Automate MySQL installation process, follow infrastructure as code. Sybase ASE from Solaris platform to Linux platform migration, 2 times performance improving. Vertica from 9.0 to 11 upgrading, 20 hours downtime saving.

Sybase ASE reboot failure when switch kernel mode from process to thread. Figure out a parameter which works in process mode, but not in thread mode. MySQL replication lag without a primary key. Change the parameter to fix.
