Duties and Responsibilities
• Receiving and admission of patients
• Care of patients with ventilator support
• Support with Cardio- Pulmonary resuscitation
• Maintenance of good and healthy Interpersonal relationship (Doctors, Paramedical staff, Health assistants)
• Maintenance of personal hygiene and infection control
• Total nursing care for ventilator patients
• Float among various clinical services, where qualified and competent
• To provide bedside total nursing care for all patients.
• Assess the Patients vital signs and monitor
• Follow medical and surgical asepsis protocol
• Assist all invasive procedures like ET tube intubation, CVP catheter, Artery line insertion, temporary and permanent pacemakers and Vascular catheter
• Make fulfilling the physical and psychological needs of the patient
• Monitoring of vital signs and ECG
• Monitoring of blood pressure like ABP, CVP, and ICP
• Oxygen therapy (Venturi mask, Rebreathing mask, Nasal cannula, and face mask)

• Suction (Oropharyngeal, Tracheostomy, and Endotracheal)
• Naso-gastric tube insertion and feeding
• IV Cannulization and Blood sampling
• Blood transfusion and maintaining of fluid and electrolyte balance
