Additional Information
Life Skills
When I was in my minor years I worked with my mother in her real estate business. This was from 1999 to 2005. My responsibilities were to work on computers, make flyers for advertising, and work her house listings. I went from door to door to help her advertise her business. She had me help in her open houses as well. She gave me the opportunity to learn the basics of real estate. I learned the MLS system for real estate listings. I had the opportunity to work with my mother's clients in the sale and/or purchase of a home.
I also volunteered at Grossmont Hospital. I was volunteering as a candy stripper during the years of 2001 and 2002. My responsibilities were to help take care of new mothers, pass out meals, gift shop helper, used multiple phone lines, and worked in the nutrition area. This taught me customer service skills, and helped me learn valuable life skills as well.
