Re: Letter of Recommendation – Maureen Murtagh

To Whom it May Concern:

Dear Sir,

I am writing to recommend Maureen “Mo” Murtagh for the position of Paralegal at your company. I had the pleasure of working directly with Mo during my time at Gilbarco Inc. (“Gilbarco”) as Associate General Counsel. I was Mo’s direct supervisor at Gilbarco and had numerous opportunities to witness her capabilities.

With unquestionable dedication, loyalty, and work ethic, Mo embodies the ideal employee and paralegal. Mo thrives in a challenging and dynamic atmosphere, and has the requisite experience and adaptability to “weather the storm”. With Mo, I had the joy of having someone on my team that I knew I could rely upon to go beyond what is expected, to handle sensitive projects and information, and be an advocate for the team and the legal function.

Mo is also able to work effectively with other co-workers, making her a great addition to the team. Her desire to never stop learning and to continuously improve her skills is extraordinary, and was a critical component of the expansion and success of the Gilbarco legal team – including the creation and management of the legal intern program.

With her abilities, adaptability, and dedication, Mo will make a great Paralegal for your company. Her enthusiasm and commitment to excellence is contagious, and I have no doubts you will be exceptionally pleased with her on your team.

Sincerely,

B. Ryan Probst, Esq.

To Whom it May Concern:

It is my pleasure to strongly recommend Maureen Murtagh Fernandez. I am Russell “Russ” McKinney, a Technical Group Lead in Technology Platforms / Advanced Development in a demanding semiconductor company. I have over 20 years of experience in the semi-conductor industry. What is essential in this line of work, that is consumer driven, is the need for professionals such as Maureen who for the past 5 years has supported the organization and as an individual who uniquely stands out!

Officially assigned to support our CTO, Maureen early on become someone I could go to and depend on to support the challenges I face in engineering. She has that savvy about her which I reflect here: approachable, good humored/natured, competent, courteous, responsive, adaptable, flexible and pays attention to the details.

Some examples of Maureen’s engineering support include video conferencing issues, ordering of engineering administrative (non-standard items necessary in engineering) and supplies (various semi-conductor vendors), maintaining and audit of Capital Expenditures and travel, to name a few. You may not be impressed with the support provided, however, I can absolutely state that in the ever-changing needs of engineering these demands/requests are not trivial and Maureen has been there with a smiling face to meet the demands of engineering.

One final experience of dependability and competency was I had to travel to one of our California design centers and there was an issue with my hotel reservation. I picked up the phone and Maureen calmly and professional handled the situation and made my day as it was very late at night. Is this in her job description, probably not, however it epitomizes her integrity and character.

I am highly confident that Maureen would be a great fit to your company/organization. Not only will she bring the kind of skills and experiences you are looking for in an applicant, she will quickly become an asset and that individual she was to me, awesome!

Please do not hesitate to contact me, credentials below, should you need more information. As a recommendation letter only provides a snapshot of her talents and capabilities, I would be happy to further elaborate on my time working with her.

Regards,

Technical Group Lead
