Let me start by saying I’m in my 60’s, I retired in 2018, but am now ready to return to manufacturing for another 5-7 years. Seeking a manufacturing management position that utilizes my 30+ years in manufacturing management including steady progression from engineer, supervisor of eng, manager of mfg eng, supt of mfg, plant manager, general manager, to VP of manufacturing. Majority of my experience has been in the metals field with a focus on machining, metal stamping, molding, painting, and assembly but I have worked in various other fields. My strong suit is plant turn-a-round (turning loss position into a profit position) and mentoring other, younger, managers.

Primary focus during my tenure with IET was the metal stamping industry with a focus on equipment productivity improvement, preventative maintenance, and equipment rebuilding/repair. Total P&L responsibility for the manufacturing division of Batten Corp, including production, engineering, quality assurance, material control, purchasing, etc. in the manufacture of high quality engine and drive train components and assemblies used in the OEM and performance automotive industries including the Batten four cam V-8 and V-12 aluminum racing engines and new Corvette aluminum cylinder heads.
