Employment History.

• Independent Computer Consultant: February 2014 to Present.

• As an Independent consultant I was available for clients in the local area to help them with PC’s Apple Computers with the current versions of the OS’s and Tablets and smart phones of both Android and Apple Products. X.

• I helped small insurance agencies.

• Small production companies, UPS Shipping Software “World Ship.”

• Collection agencies.

• Medical billing agencies to keep their HIPPA requirements up to date.

• Accounting firm with their QuickBooks and made an entire online system for their employees and a few of their clients to access their own the files from remote via a Remote Desktop Server system with multiple layers of security to keep the files safe.

• I helped home health care professionals with their systems to ensure their HIPPA requirements were up to date.

• Ham Radio Outlet: Assistant Manager Trainee; August 2013 to February 2014. I was learning to become a manager for one of their locations the move to Virginia and the training method was not the best for me, so I decided to leave and come back to California.

• I was in charge of maintaining all the desktop PC’s for every staff member. ensuring that all computers had little to no down time.

• I made sure that all the updates and patches were installed via the WSUS Server. keeping the main server secure as it was holding credit card numbers for the members of NSDCAR® this was part of the PCI Compliance.

• I would do all the updates to the servers to ensure that the PCI compliance audits would pass. 2

• As part of the PCI compliance, I ensured that every staff members password would be changed every 90 days.

• If a staff member needed help with any of the Microsoft Office software and any other software, I would help them.

• I kept in contact with the copier representatives to ensure we were current with the systems.

• I made it so that any fax that came in on the copier showed up to a main folder so that any staff member could forward to the proper department.

• I ensured that the copiers and folding machines were up and running all the time.

• I would order or build the computers for the requirements of the individual staff member’s needs.

• I maintained the RDP server for the staff that worked from the remote offices, so they had full access to any files or data.

• I maintained the backups of all the servers and would restore lost data if a staff member lost a file.

• I would go to the CEO’s home office and help with anything she needed.

• I would give upgrade recommendations for software upgrades.

• I ensured that the antivirus software was always up to date on ever computer in the office.

• I made the antivirus software notify me if there was an issue.

• I would keep up to date on the current computer systems to ensure when new items came out, I would have the knowledge to help with them.

• I used Spice Works to keep track of the software versions and it was also the trouble ticket software.

• I would test the UPS’ weekly to ensure they were working properly.

• I had also rebuilt the main location of the routers and switches to have proper speed for all the computers and the TCPIP Cisco telephone system and programmed all the phones

• I kept the network safe on the Wi-Fi system.

• I kept an inventory of all the individual printer’s toner cartridges to ensure no one ran out of toner.

• If members came into the office and needed help with their laptop computers, I would be available to help them.

• I kept track of expiration dates of service contracts.

• When computers would come to the end of their service life I would replace it and purge the hard drives to ensure all the data was removed and rebuild them for donations.

• Also did Audio and Video Production for Members and Staff for Classes that were offered.
