Following are 3 letters of reference from my most recent colleagues that describe my leadership and management style.

I am writing to you today on behalf of Lynn Tilton, who has recently applied for your manager role. I have had the privilege of being Lynn’s people management leader for the past few years and have had front row seats to see her excel in this role. Three areas specifically that I want to highlight are her leadership skills, change management skills and relationships she builds with her team and customers.

The past three years have been inundated with change – including accelerated transformation of our business model, reductions in force, technology upgrades – and Lynn has led her team of 50 EAs and approximately 400 partners through all of it. She has been a voice for collaboration, embracing new ways of working, and helping all involved see the benefits and value of changes being made. She is empathetic, but focused, and can draw a hard line when she needs to.

Lynn very quickly showed me that her secret ingredient is her ability to create meaningful relationships with her peers, her team and her customers. She asks insightful questions and listens for content and context. She is creative with problem solving, and truly wants what is best for all involved. She consistently receives feedback from her customers that they appreciate her perspective, insight, and diligence. She will be truly missed!

Lynn embraces her role as a leader, and invests the time and energy required to meet each person on her team where they are in their journey. She meets with her customers at least monthly (more often if needed), and her individual team members biweekly. She openly shares appropriate information to ensure everyone has the same understanding, designs tailored training plans to close skill gaps, and is committed to helping her team grow and flourish.

I'm excited to support Lynn as she explores new roles but would be remiss if I didn't say that she will leave a high standard for her replacement to follow. I would happily work with Lynn again if given the opportunity, and know she has a bright future ahead of her.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if there are any specific questions I can answer for you about Lynn. It has truly been my pleasure to provide this recommendation.

Sincerely,

Jenn Dory, Director of Administration

To Whom it May Concern:

It gives me great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Lynn Tilton. I have worked with Lynn for 3 years at KPMG LLP and have nothing but positive things to say. She managed a large team of Executive Assistants nationwide during a time when many changes were taking place with our EA model and we were short-staffed, causing a lot of stress. She handled everything superbly and we knew she advocated for her team as appropriate.

Lynn's leadership and communication skills are top notch. She is extremely adept at communicating with all levels of personnel from C-Suite to the mailroom and treats everyone with respect. Lynn is also very team oriented and knows how to bring out the best in her direct reports.

There is no doubt in my mind that she will be an excellent addition to your firm.

Please do not hesitate to contact me at 708-***-**** or ad1968@r.postjobfree.com if you have any further questions.

Regards,

Kimber Janota
