Responsibility of the position
is to support the programme staffs in federal, regions and Local Urban Governance (ULG) level in planning the HR capacity building and implementation
Support focal persons in 117 cities of Ethiopia in HR capacity gap assessment, gap identifications and provide training
Review and provide comments on CB manuals, performance measurement guidelines, thereby help them undertake annual performance assessments
Review and evaluate Ministries, regions and cities HRcapacity building plans and give feedback on how to increase skill, Knowledge and capabilities.
Review and evaluate training plans, methodologies and procedures and give improved, effective approaches of training in demand based manner.
Develop, prepare organize capacity building training manuals and provide training for regional government officials, city mayors, city managers and actors(Focal persons) of 117 cities
Achievements:
Developed and submitted standardized capacity HR building manual applicable for 117 cities in Ethiopia, federal ministries and regions
Provided HR Capacity Building Training for 555 participants from 117 cities and 10 regions for 10 days
Conducted pre-training test survey in 117 cities and 10 regions before training provisions and identified the human capital/asset level of actors and officials, the result of the survey has been used to plan capacity building in ministry of Urban development and construction(MUDCo
