2022-Present:

Contract Project Manager to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science & Technology (S&T) Directorate’s CIO Office to lead the Business Management Office and a team of 5 analysts and subject matter experts. Responsible for all aspects of project management within the contract’s statement of work covering BMO activities. Managed team assignments, quality management of deliverables, coaching and directing individuals, and managing discrete project requirements gathering for client organizations within the directorate.

Project intake: Worked with Program Managers to document new IT project requirements, review project plans, and gather cost estimates. Created a new, consolidated Project Intake Requirements and Questionnaire document to capture all the necessary project and systems operations data that the Functional Areas need to make a well-informed decision on the viability, risk assessment, sustainability, and cost estimation for each project. Documented the project intake process and made process improvements to reduce the number of meetings and revisions to project intake requests.
