**** ** ******* – City of Portsmouth Va. - Combination Inspector (I came to Portsmouth to help my friend Doug Smith when the city was shorthanded; I ended up shutting my business down and becoming a full time employee. Now that the department has become fully staffed I am pursuing my career as a plans examiner an desire to work closer to home as traffic congestion continues to increase. As a lifelong residence of Hampton, I have a deep understanding of the Peninsula cities and its governments.

2010 to 2017 – Old Hampton Construction Services – Insurance Loss Control for numerous companies

, H&S, Alexander & Schmidt, Regional, Majestic etc 2007 to 2010 – IBTS – Herndon Va. - Commercial Inspections Military Housing – Newports News Va., Norfolk Va. - Ft Eustis Va.

1996 to 2007 – City of Newport News – Codes Compliance ( Retired) Plans Examiner. Introduced city to digital plans review.

1984 to 1996 – Old Hampton Construction Services – Various companies and architect performing CQC services primarily of Federal Government Projects on local government projects 1972 to 1984 – City of Hampton - Plans Examiner and Senior Building Inspector (2 malls, 2 5+-story office buildings, 3 large warehouse).

1968 to 1974 – Civil Service – Ft. Eustis Va. - Aircraft Maintenance and inspection. 1964 to 1968 – Newport News Shipyard – NDT testing ship welds on Submarines. 1960 to 1964 – US Coast Guard – Aircraft maintenance (piston & turbine) & Search & Rescue Crew chief fixed and rotary wing.
