Director of Convenience Store - Northeast – 04/18 to 06/2020

Responsibilities included new and existing retail foodservice business opportunities. Primary focus top 50 Convenience Store Operators and Distributors. Accounts located in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Region. Outside travel 40-50%. Homebase was conveniently located to Baltimore/Washington and Dulles Airport.

McLane Company- Temple, TX

Key Account Manager – 05/07 to 03/18

Managed all logistic, category management, and purchasing for Two top 50 C-Store chains. Managed a portfolio with annualized sales of 50 million dollars. Required to manage the retail category activities, food service menus, and logistic scheduling. Both chains had significant location growth in 11 years. Organic store sales created a strong profit margin per location. Responsible for the management of 2 direct reports.

Performance Food Group/ Virginia Foodservice – Richmond, VA

General Sales Manager– 03/04 to 10/05

Responsibilities included managing and directing all territory street sales activities. FY 2004 the company showed a sales growth of 28% and a profit dollars growth of 24%. During this year the number of Sales Associates increased from 32 to 44. Total sales volume FY 2004/Territory sales were $58 million. Sales Team members who reported to my position included 7 District Managers and 44 Sales Associates. Areas of distribution, all of Virginia and a new market (Northeast North Carolina/Raleigh, NC) opened in January of 2005.

District Sales Manager – 09/01 to 03/04

Responsibilities were with the local Richmond Sales Team. This team consisted of 8 Sales Associates with an annual sales volume of $14 Million. In 2003 received PFG’s Chairman’s Club District Manager’s Elite Award. This is awarded based on yearly sales and profit growth.

Alliant/Atlantic Foodservice – Manassas, VA

District Sales Manager – 10/95 to 09/01

Responsibilities were in the Tidewater and Richmond markets. Sales Team consisted of 8-9 Sales Associates, with annual sales volume of $16+Million. During my career a conversion of Atlantic Foodservice to Alliant Foodservice occurred. Instrumental in the conversion was the consolidation of the Central and Southeastern VA markets. Received numerous sales awards during my career in Manassas (District Manager of the Year FY 1999). Consistently achieved sales and profit plans, with the largest increase of 18% during the 1999 year.

Sandler Foods/PYA Monarch VA Beach – VA Beach, VA

District Sales Manager – 03/92 to 10/95

Responsibilities were in the Roanoke Valley and Richmond markets. Sales Team consisted of 10-16 Sales Associates, with my largest annual sales volume of $26+Million. During my career in VA Beach my duties involved setting up training programs and the conversion of Sandler Foods into PYA Monarch. FY 1994 received PYA’s President’s Award for District Manager’s. This award is earned through sales and profit growth.

Responsibilities were in Southeast VA (Suffolk, Smithfield and Franklin Areas).

Created a new market and during my career as a Sales Associate received FY 1991 Sales Associate of the Year Award.
