JOB SUMMARY;
A Data Research Supervisor at UNC Project puts fresh questionnaires in folders and delivers them to appropriate clinic when needed. He / she ensures Data fax machines and other related equipment are clean and data fax forms are available within the data office, creates and maintains folders and enters data for studies.
1. DATA COLLECTION AND MANAGEMENT.
a. Supports day-to-day records management activities, which includes folder preparation, putting fresh questionnaires in folders, delivering questionnaires/folders to study clinics and collecting completed questionnaires/folders from the clinic at the end of the day in time. b. Data Entry and Quality Checking
c. Review and work with the current Clinical Quality Management Plan (CMQP) d. Ensures data entry requirements are met by following data program techniques and procedures.
e. Maintains a system of folder tracking
f. Liaises, trains, and collaborates with other departments on record/folder management, storage, and archiving.
g. Implements operational strategies associated with folder management, data storage and archiving in accordance with study requirements, departmental and site policy, practice and regulatory requirements.
h. Assists in evaluation and verification of all incoming records for storage and destruction and are in compliance with site sop and regulation.
2. DATA REPORTING AND TOOLS
a. Participates in development and documentation of relevant procedures to provide easy guidance on information storage, retrieval, retention and destruction in compliance with applicable regulation.
b. Generates, compiles and analyses folder tracking reports. c. Produces and maintains a stock and chain of custody report on departmental resources 3. INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT.
a. Maintains the cleanliness of departmental workstation, data storage and data warehouse. b. Ensures that all study documents are available in data office within the specified time allowed in the study procedures.
c. Informs Data Manager/Data Coordinator about the status of folders. 4. RESEARCH ETHICS
a. Understands ICH/GCP, data management SOP, CQMP policy, folder arrangement of the assigned study, ethical guidelines, archiving SOP and all essential documents for the assigned study and UNC Project.
b. Maintains awareness of information and data security c. Ensures safe custody of study documents.
d. Constantly reminding all study staff that collected data need to be locked up always for security and confidentiality.
e. Ensuring that questionnaires/CRFs are transferred from the study clinics to the data office in an efficient and safe manner.
5. MISCELLANEOUS
a. Contribute to team and department meetings and organizational priorities b. Be proactive in keeping up to date with developments across the organization affecting the role.
c. Carry out other associated duties as may arise, develop or be assigned in line with the broad remit of the post.

j. Ensure data sent to the server is compiled and checked properly through cross matching consents form of the clients.
k. Making reports each and every quarter monthly and final report at the end of the month according to the number of patients enrolled
