WORK EXPERIENCE

Zillow – Senior Software Development Manager – Seattle, WA, USA 2020 – 2023 Leading multiple software teams across multiple countries (US, Canada, Mexico). My teams own engineering for the top of the funnel (customer acquisition) for high traffic (28.5 million daily visitors), low latency (36.3 ms p50), and high revenue ($1.5B) area of the business.

o Increased value delivery velocity for customers by aligning the roadmap for 3 globally distributed software teams

(25 heads – frontend, backend, mobile engineers) across 3 countries, defining shared OKRs, and breaking projects into smaller deliverables to iterate faster. Supported GTM launches and expansions to 90 markets on time. o Delivered multiple projects on or ahead of schedule with attention to project management, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation. Used techniques such as RAID, OKRs, GANTT, reallocations, and away team development regularly to achieve business outcomes. Teams regularly exceeded goals and OKRs. o Got the highest possible rating (score 3.0 out of 3.0) in the last annual review (2022). Amazon – Software Development Manager & Lead Engineer – Seattle, WA, USA 2015 – 2020 Led software teams within AWS Finance responsible for launching products for financial controls, sales enablement, and sales acceleration for revenue growth, governance, and business expansion. o Drove the roadmap, tenets, standards, and vision for the teams. Led the teams to deliver 3 new products using AWS technologies and multiple features within 1 year which generated positive customer feedback and 2 engineer promotions. These products are responsible for supporting 3.5B USD investment portfolio of AWS, automating business processes for custom deals (80% of AWS revenue), and providing security and isolation for AWS customers. o Addressed team scaling (+11 hires) by reorganizing the teams. Established and implemented efficient SDLC processes, and spearheaded the transition to a full Agile-Scrum methodology.
