*.I have over twenty years in the IT field, working for both Applied Systems in University park, Walgreen’s Staging Facility in Bolingbrook, and more recently at the Menards / Midwest Manufacturing facility in Plano. At Applied Systems, I did some minor hardware troubleshooting, along with minor networking issues. I mostly helped troubleshoot Access 97 and SQL databases. In my more recent tenure with Walgreen’s, I prepared equipment for store level deployment. My tasks included networking, loading software on Intel and HP servers – which sometimes required some Linux troubleshooting, loading software on IBM AS/400 systems, configuring Symbol / Motorola / Zebra series 9090 hand scanners, configuring Cisco wireless controllers, configuring Avaya IP phone systems, and configuring Fortinet UTM Firewalls, and minor work configuring Cisco routers and switches. At Menards, I cloned PC’s, Citadel Netforce and XPR units, installed and troubleshot wireless access points, unlocked passwords in Active Directory, did preventative maintenance as well as troubleshot SATO printers on the print and apply lines, installed and deployed UPS systems. I also taught some classes in my time with Applied Systems, and wrote and polished procedures at Walgreen’s.
