Responsibilities

I worked at Martin Army Community Hospital (MACH). After a 2 year period of time, working as a Quality

Assurance Specialist, I was able to return to my previous job at MACH. I perform basically the same task as my

Accomplishments

I have been factory trained on a various amount of medical equipment plus other types of highly sophisticated

electronic test equipment. In the blood related lab equipment, I have been trained on the CompoMat G4

- Fresenius Kabi compomats. In optical related lab equipment, I have been trained on National Optronics

(Satisloh) edgers and blockers. In the field of dentistry, I have been trained on the ADEC dental chairs and

peripherals. Also, in the field of dentistry, I have been trained on Planmeca Intra/Oral and Panoramic x-ray

machines. My major accomplishments have been that I am the Subject Matter Expert and Point of Contact in the field of dentistry and I was the oversight, in putting together a rebuilt from ground up, a 64-chair clinic, lab, xrays, sterilization, and all biomedical related equipment in this particular clinic. I have also been the POC in putting together Command Troop Movement Clinic (CTMC) (a medical facility) which included a variety of medical equipment (various kinds of patient monitoring equipment, audio equipment, physical therapy equipment, optical equipment, audio equipment, lab equipment, pharmacy equipment and medical refrigerators/freezers alarm systems.) I received a cash award due to my efforts in seeing this through. Both task, combined, was a 2 year plus project. To return after leaving this job is very much unheard of and a major accomplishment. My coworkers all wanted me back on this job.

Skills Used

My ability to use a various amount of medical test equipment (electrical safety analyzers, vital signs simulators,

defib simulators/analyzers, infusion pump analyzers, electrosurgical analyzers, Unfors (x-ray tester), ultra

sound test equipment, fetal monitoring test equipment, multimeters, oscopes and various other equipment). My

previous job required me to be micro solder certified. Computer usage on the job is a requirement. People skills

are also a requirement. Customer satisfaction is a must. I am familiar with HIPPA and Joint Commission: Accreditation, Health Care, and understand the importance of maintaining JCAHO approved ratings for the hospital.

Responsible for filing x-ray files and ensuring that these files are always up-to-date. Yearly these files are inspected by JCAHO for accuracy.

I supervised 10 employees. I fully performed the task of a supervisor from maintaining a readiness status

of training aids, weapons, night optical, communication equipment and accessories for these items. Ensured

commitments to different activities' training purposes for soldier readiness were met. Kept payroll/time records

which included approval/disapproval of leave usage to maintaining records through the computer system of

workload status and progress to various reports due to the chief of the weapon's pool, operations officer and

I retired from the Civil Service January 2015.

I do have a CDL license Class B with PS endorsements.

I am CPR certified.

While working full time civil service, between the years of 2001 – 2002, I worked full time, at night, as a Walmart Security.

From 1997-2001: I held a seasonable job at Callaway Gardens as a Trolley Driver. This consisted of taking a load of passengers in two trolleys throughout the Fantasy-in-Lights display.

The month of January 2015: As a substitute bus driver, I drove a school bus from home to school and school back. I am presently certified with the Lee County Alabama Board of Education. I hold a Class B CDL license with a PS endorsement that expires October 2022. I also hold a DOT physical certification that expires August 2020. I am presently driving the school bus again. I started back November 2016 until now, and am now a full time school bus driver.

I also, while in the Navy (1977-1978), drove a converted school bus to a church bus. I picked up children in the rural areas every Sunday morning and brought them to church. After morning services, I took them home.

Please note that I do have customer experience. With all of my jobs at the hospital (12 years total) required excellent customer service. This included confronting the customer concerning their immediate problems; also included training on new equipment and ensuring customer satisfaction. My job required my use of word, excel and outlook. My job also required me to work at different medical facilities throughout locations all over Ft. Benning, causing me to be familiar with most areas of Ft. Benning.

March 2017 – August 2017: I worked at Regional Rehabilitative Hospital, Phenix City, Alabama. I transport patients to and from designated appointments such as Doctor’s Appointments. I also work as a Therapy Tech.
