Over 25 years of professional experience in the Management of Capital Projects, Facilities Management, Capital and Operational Budgets, Port & Public Works, Building & Engineering Design, Parks and Recreation, Building Operations, Risk Management, Safety, Emergency Operations, Food Services, Human Resources, Port and Marina Operations, Security Operations including Homeland Security activities. I have also directed and managed a University campus, including its construction, opening, and operations as well as a Technical College campus, with off- site branch campus buildings and their construction and operational management. Also, I have taught various facility programs at the college levels for over 20 years of adjunct vocational instruction for trades and licensing. I serve as a Board member for the California Governor’s office with OSPR, a Bay Regional Safety board, with oversight of all maritime traffic.

Including managing multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously as well as can influence and develop relationships at all organization levels. Full responsibility with oversight of maintenance, the commissioning of large-scale, complex projects with technical leadership and mentoring to facilities and maintenance leadership including LEED type projects. Use of Best Practices including Innovation with an ability to document, improve work methods, standardize, provide a safe work environment and require safe work practices, train, commission equipment, collect, measure, and analyze key performance indicators to improve processes. Equipment end of life (EOL) issues using ROI, and other analytical techniques for replacement. Provide oversight for budget development and execution, and capital planning. With auditing and enforcement of maintenance execution, safe work practices, and institute and audit training drills across the network. Manage budgets and contract documents including RFPs, change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing. Supervision of direct staffing from up to 100 staff of various disciplines. Serving also as a Personnel Board member for South San Francisco Schools.

Facility Operations, including Capital Construction and Security Operations for a Public Sea Port Shipping and Break Bulk Terminal, and a 2300 slip capacity Marina, 2 county marinas with one being a commercial fishing operation, and in conjunction with leasing activities of various business, stores and land sales and purchases.
