SOSA: Evaluated OCC’s in-house software application viz. ‘Streamlined Options Series Adds (SOSA). This application allows exchanges to add same day option series in Encore or next day option series in Private & Public Queues via CSV, GUI and Series Gen. ETL Informatica tool is used to extract, transform and load data from csv (vendor) files to the Java Engine that validates series before they are sent to Encore for trading. This enhancement from C++ engine to Java Engine dramatically increased performance of series processing from 40 minutes to 8 minutes. This also involves accessing procuring online prices from third party vendor and online processing of new option series adds, updating / deleting existing series in Encore. Performance testing conducted successfully via LoadRunner. Regression Testing successfully completed via QTP. As part of end of day process, verified that series data is migrated from staging tables to Encore database successfully when ‘Sweep to Encore’ job plan is completed successfully. Also verified that table data from staging tables (rawsosaseries /sosaseries) is mapped correctly to the Encore table (optionseries). Reviewed code enhancements via TortoiseSVN.

RSA: Involved in assessing the enhancements of high Risk-based Strong Authentication (RSA). This application ensures only registered users can access ecommerce website www.MyOCC.com once their Id and device has been verified by Entrust (3rd party software). Friday Expiration: Implemented Friday Expiration date for new EXPR symbols. New Standard series coming in with Saturday Expiration date for EXPR symbols only will be converted to Friday Expiration date. Gather test requirements, prepare test suites, carry out black-box test, regression test, defects tracking, reporting and resolutions during Code test, Unit Test, Integration Test, System Test, Database Test, Scenario based testing, negative testing, positive testing, Boundary value analysis, Load Test and Stress Test of all developed software applications. Continually ensure accurate and timely delivery. Independently tested the Online Business Reporting Application System for Motorola. The application generates adhoc business analysis reports on unit repairs, which the user may download for future reference.

Load / Stress Testing of Oracle Business Analysis Reports having PL/SQL, Triggers, Procedures, Packages and functions. The bugs responsible for poor response time were reported to the Developer. These reports were tuned.
