Paragon Casino Resort – Marksville, LA…Senior Accounting Clerk November 2022-November 2023 Accounts receivable processing for a central Louisiana resort casino utilizing several different accounting software applications:

• Leisure Management Systems-LMS,

• Agilysys Datamagine (Document Management solution),

• Agilysys Sales & Catering (Event Data management software),

• Infogenesis (Point of Sale software), and Cognos 8 (Data management & analytics software). Daily use of spreadsheets & databases for entering/posting financial transactions. Month end reconciliations of inventory reports between subledger and general ledger. Sub-ledger maintenance and general ledger posting of journal entries. Crafting and formalization of policies and procedures for AR daily operations. Communications with credit card companies regarding dispute notifications and follow up investigations. Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, Marksville, Louisiana May 1997 to July 2022 Council Member At Large & Minors’ Trust Program Director Leadership, direction & guidance to various government department operations and programs. Developed strategic plans to drive funding initiatives, manage Minors' Trust accounts, and negotiated numerous intergovernmental contracts. Provide direction and guidance to Paragon Casino Executives: Budgeting, Financial Analysis, Marketing, Executive HR Acquisitions, Strategic planning (long & short term), etc. Lead tribal rep on high yield bond placement; risk-related advisor to outside parties, i.e. Standard & Poor, Moody’s, state and federal agencies. Advocate for tribal and casino interests with U.S. Congressional senatorial and representative divisions.

● Generated business revenue of $100M annually while working with 1200+ associates. Tunica-Biloxi Tribe, Marksville, LA 2010 – Present Revitalization Program Administrator - Language & Culture Initiated the creation and resurrection of a living language program. Redesign of the Tunica Language Camp Summer Program. Updated materials & created new documents for language instructions in collaboration with Tulane University's Linguistics Department. Operated at the senior project administrator level and advised on day-to-day activities. Provided consulting services, support, and guidance regarding employees, program development, and policies implementation. Participated in programming with instructors and students. Served to protect the program from internal and politically charged competing interests. Supervised administrative staff members and taught first-year students as a Language Instructor.
