Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer I was primarily responsible for the development and enhancement of Population Health Metrics (measures). Metrics were based off a combination of electronic medical records and claims based data feeds received from various providers. Metrics were created as per CMS/HEDIS/UDS (Steward) specifications using AWS redshift environment and postgres SQL.

Used Sublime Editor for writing SQL code (Stored Procedures, Views, SQL Queries) and Datagrip IDE, Aginity Workbench for running and testing the code.

Development of complex SQL queries, stored procedures and views using Postgres SQL for creating the HEDIS, CMS and UDS measures.

Experience with version control system Git and Bitbucket. Used Bitbucket for the code reviews and brainstorming with the team.

Experience with AWS S3 bucket for uploading and retrieving the data.
