Shahnaaz Ibrahim holds a Bachelor of Social Work in Community Development obtained from DMI-St. Eugene University, Zambia, Diploma in Public Health Management, administered by ABMA from PACT Collage, Malawi, Certificate in Elderly care, care givers and Hospitality Management obtained by Cruiseline consultancy Malawi, General Certificate of Education and attended a number of trainings; and registered member of Social Work Association of Zambia. Shahnaaz Ibrahim has an extensive knowledge with 4 years working experience in providing social services including the following areas; entrepreneurship programs, counseling, providing support to school of orphans, sexual reproductive health rights, gender and child protection, health care and education obtained from current and previous posts. a) Staff supervisor and entrepreneurship coach for Jacaranda Vocational School (JVS) – from July, 2022 to date.

Specific duties and responsibilities:

Monitor the women’s entrepreneurship programs

Partake in home visits of the women under the entrepreneurship programs

Take pictures and document women’s entrepreneurship success stories

Liaise with program sponsors and donors by providing constant feedback.

Registration of vocational school with TEVETA

Supervise vocational classes, inventories, employee work performance and attendance

b) Counselor and Data collection officer for Jacaranda Community Physiotherapy Clinic

(JPC) – from March, 2021to July, 2021

Specific duties and responsibilities:

Counseling of clinic patients and guardians on their medical conditions.

Motivate and encourage patients and their guardians to continue with physiotherapy.

Collection and writing of patients success stories.

Partake in patient Home visits and health awareness in the communities
