Key Responsibilities:
Finance Accounts & Commercial
Reviews all activities of the Finance Administrator such as general ledgers of the several entities, consolidation, invoicing processes, external payroll administration, legal matters and insurances;
Ensures accurate and timely accounting and reporting of monthly and quarterly financial results, including profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow;
Responsible for the periodically financial overview &Consolidate Regional Accounts.
Responsible for the audit process, and successful completion of the audit;
Prepares (monthly-, quarterly- and yearly) financial reports and carries out analyses as required;
Develops and implements finance and accounting policies and procedures where needed;
Responsible for cash management activities;
Leads the process of business strategic and operating plans, including the management of budgets;
Co-ordinates the establishment and reporting of forecasts and annual budgetary plans;
Liaises with bank, accountant, tax advisor and legal counselors;
Co-ordinates with Customers & Vendors for Account Receivables & Payables Scrutiny,preparation of monthly outstanding of customers, Bills Discounting, L/C payments, follow up with sales dept. on weekly basis for customers outstanding, accounting of actual realization from customers, to update Sales and Purchase registers, debit and credit notes accounting.
Manages the timely payment of invoices and salaries.
Preparing & maintaining statutory books of accounts; looking after the reconciliation of financial statements in compliance with the norms.
Supervising the preparation of MIS reports & analyzing the same to provide feedback to the top management on business performance.
Presenting a true and fair view of the financial position of the company through timely preparation of annual reports ensuring analyzing the expenditure on a monthly basis to control expenses.
Tax Audit & Legal:
Ensures timely tax filing;
Processes yearly statutory reporting;
Computation of VAT, Prof. Tax, Service Tax and Excise Duty work and other relevant taxes.
Responsible for all legal matters.
Performing analytical review of financial statements and evaluation of internal control systems for carrying out Internal / Statutory Audits.
Preparing Audit Reports and making recommendations in order to ensure that accounts are prepared and maintained in conformance to statutory obligations.
Overseeing management of Excise duty/ Service Tax / TDS assessment in coordination with the department & consultant’s requirements
Profitability Analysis and MIS:
Customer-wise/Vertical-wise/State-wise contribution of Profitability analysis and variance analysis.
Consolidation of reports for the senior management containing details of warehouses, circles, segments, products.
Supervise & Manage cost and service delivery reports with reasons for variance
Supervise of TTSL Trading P&L report
Preparing periodical cash flow, fund flow related statements for monthly variance reports, etc.
Managing reconciliations with job workers and rate fixation of job workers.
Handling day to day Accounts (Sales Accounting) and payments, Banking, TDS, etc.
Inventory management & Cost control
Actively managing inventory, costing department, valuations of the product, interaction with statutory auditors for inventory valuation, annual stock take and variance analysis as against standard.
Monthly monitoring of costs line items comparing it with forecast and budgets & dong a deep dive to find the root cause of the variations.
Statutory Compliance
Interfacing with statutory authorities, Internal and Statutory Auditors during finalizations.
Clearing commercial and administrative payments e.g. inland freight, ocean freight, C&F charges, credit cards telephones, branch /guest house payment, etc.
