ABOUT ME

Graduated from Peshawar University Pakistan in 1992 in physical and environmental chemistry. I started teaching carrier in 1994 till date. I have 28 years classroom experience teaching Chemistry and Biology in different streams

(Cambridge, American and IB. (IGCSE, A level, NGSS IB, FBSE and CBSE). I have had 3 years administrative experience and 6 months of consultancy experience. OBJECTIVES: I am seeking an academic position as a Science teacher/ instructor in the fields of Chemistry, Biology

(Grade 5 to 12) and Physics (grade 5 to 10).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lesson Planning and Delivery:

• Plans, prepares, and presents lessons that cater to needs of the various abilities within the class.

• Prepares unit plans and lesson plans with detailed required skills and standards to be covered, lesson objectives, and procedures for delivering instruction.

• Uses effective strategies in differentiating instruction.

• Integrates technology in classroom instruction. Scaffold student learning in/out the classroom.

• Engages/involving students in the learning process, and interacts with the students in a professional and caring manner offering constructive, encouraging, and timely feedback. Classroom Management:

• Maintains discipline in the classroom.

• Follows school/college rules and regulations regarding the applied disciplinary scheme.

• Manages students’ behavior in the classroom and on school premises and applies appropriate measures in cases of misbehavior.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Performs formative and summative assessments on regular basis, and maintains the record.

• Prepares monthly and semester revision sheets, study guides and tests, while maintaining their confidentiality.

• Marks students work (HW/CW), and grades quizzes and exams on regular and timely basis.

• Corrects copybooks and homework daily.

• Prepare regular progress reports and evaluation sheets.

• Maintains records of students’ progress and development.

• Prepares and presents informative reports about students’ professional development and improvement plans.

• Teaches with the concept of differentiation and globalization. EDUCATION:
