At the Entira/FHSM centralized triage, utilizing electronic medical records I presently did telephone triage for pediatrics to geriatrics. I developed and implemented the prescription refill/telephone triage department for the 12 FSHM clinics. In addition, I coordinated and trained all new RNs to the department. Our department did live telephone triage, so clients do not have to wait for a call back. We took messages from nursing homes and assisted living facilities with labs, etc.

12/00 – 12/05 Hasting Allina Clinic

At the Cottage Grove Allina my work experience was in telephone triage. In addition, I processed medication refills. The RNs also performed complimentary blood pressures for walk-in clients.

I have multiple years of experience in Telephone triage and prescription refills. My most recent experience was at a Family Practice centralized telephone triage center/refill department located in the east metro area (Stillwater Medical Group). I worked 24+ hours a week. I recently "retired" due to unforeseen circumstances and I am looking for a change/challenge.

I have worked with clients from neonates to the geriatric age group. I am compassionate & focused on patient centered care. I pride myself on being the best telephone triage nurse I can be. I have taken multiple online telephone triage courses, as well as attending triage conferences. I worked as a Health Aide (RN) in an elementary school for 2+ years so I am familiar with the position.

I have experience with electronic medical records (E Clinical Works, Excellian, Excel) and I scheduled patient appointments using ECW that are routed through a centralized scheduling center.

I have both my Minnesota and Wisconsin licensure.
