April 2023- oct 2023 Olympia Bupe Clinic. Clinic manager. Oversaw daily operations of the buprenorphine clinic for low income fentanyl addicts. Helped develop and authored new policies. Monitored financials to ensure that clinic remain viable due to patient treatment payment liabilities. Supervised all staff in the clinic outside of the medical providers. June 2021 - Sept 2022~ Molina Healthcare- Substance Abuse Case Manager My job entailed reaching out to members and offering case management and direction for behavioral health and medical conditions. This was a remote position involving creating care plans and goals along with assisting members find services covered by their insurance. October 2020 - June 2021~ SeaMar Behavioral Health- Substance Abuse Counselor I was hired to restart and develop their SUD program. I have been treating their Behavioral Health pa- tients that have a co-occurring disorder. I am doing all of the assessments and developing a process to attend to DUI and Department of Correction clients as well. I am using my therapeutic skills to help guide these individuals towards a drug free lifestyle.

I work with multiple mental health, substance abuse agencies and county organizations to help them pre- pare for an integrated health system in 2020. I met with each provider about expanding their services to meet the need of the Medicaid patients that we serve. I have worked with telemedicine and making it available to all of our providers. I have expanded care in Grays Harbor County by bringing in new providers and helping them meet the access to care the area requires. I worked to help establish this clinic with the Grays Harbor County Health Department to better serve their addicted population. I am in charge of the site and all clinical aspects of the clinic. This clinic pres- ently serves 290 opioid patients with a county cap of 350 patients. I supervise all staff at this clinic as well as develop our current CDPT.

April 2005-October 2016 ~ South Sound Clinic - Evergreen Treatment Services, Site and Treatment manager

I reorganized and grew this clinic from 190 to 550 patients, and at present on our way to capacity of 650 patients. I work with Thurston County Chemical Dependency to treat the large number of opioid addicts in Thurston and surrounding counties. I have overseen the treatment process and I have 3 supervisors who report to me on all issues of the clinic that include treatment, medical, finance and maintenance of the fa- cility. In addition, I have developed numerous CDPTs at South Sound, one of which is now the clinic’s Assistant Treatment Manager.

1999-2005 ~ Evergreen Treatment Services

I assisted the treatment Director with her responsibilities and signed off appropriate paperwork including charts, take home requests and letters. While lead counselor I was assigned to be the federal probation counselor and liaison for Evergreen Treatment Services. I also carried a case load of 65 patients while maintaining my other duties.

September 1995-1999 ~ Evergreen Treatment Services Counselor

I assisted opioid addicted patients through their stages of change by using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. June 1989-September 1995 ~ Ortho Pharmaceutical Sales representative, Tigard, OR Sold women’s health care products to physicians and ARNP’s to benefit their patients. I also played a part in the residents programs for the OB/GYN and Family practice Programs. This involved working with the Chairmen of the Departments on education programs for these future physicians. September 1987-June 1989 ~ Evergreen Treatment Services Counselor

I finished my required licensing hours under the supervision of Director Ron Jackson. I then continued working as a full time opioid addiction counselor. Other Projects

Outreach at Thurston County Needle Exchange – 2008 to 2013 HIV/STD Safer Sex for Men in Substance Abuse Treatment – February 2004 – March 2005 Co-facilitated groups of men in substance abuse treatment to evaluate brief intervention versus in-depth education of HIV and STD prevention in a national research study for high risk patients.
