I am a Registered Nurse with a variety of experience in acute care & out-patient settings; labor & delivery, preop, PACU, quality management, travel. I have been a staff nurse, a charge nurse, committee participant for stroke initiatives, supported the infection control dept. Worked in the capacity as a RN educator creating new & better practices for nurse onboarding. Along with my colleagues & leadership to create. This led to a completely new manor of training that was thorough, lower in stress and more support which in turn led to greater employee satisfaction & confidence. Created positive affirmation board for employees to acknowledge each other. Basically, we stopped throwing our young under the bus.

On the May 22nd, I will be receiving volunteer training from Project Ride which offers horse therapy to disabled adults & kids.

Education: Completed my BSN during coved crisis at Western Governor’s University. AA degree Cabrillo College. I planning to pursue nurse practitioner training with a start date of fall 2023.
