DEPARTMENT: MATERIAL/PROCUREMENT

-Planning, Controlling, Coordinating, and Supervising different types of Projects,

Schedule and release all material used in production.

-Reconcile both customer and supplier cumulative counts.

-Manage inventory levels in order to maximize inventory turns.

-Locate new sources of supply and establish new suppliers.

-Conduct supplier performance evaluations/supplier assessments.

-Maintain updated records of MR, PO, Change Request, invoices, and contracts

-Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.

-Ensure timely delivery of all finished goods as per customer requirements and meet customer delivery performance rating criteria.

-Interface closely with Production and all plant support groups to ensure activities are defined accurately and executed effectively.

-Participate in the monitoring and management of supplier delivery performance.

-Provide technical support to problem-solving activities such as investigations, and interfacing with other plant departments on a continuous basis.

-Manage inventory stock levels by applying advanced inventory control techniques; monitoring and updating minimum and maximum stock levels.

-Creating daily/weekly reports on issuing orders and purchase orders. Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory reports and KPIs to the management team

-Perform root causes analysis and cycle counts to improve inventory accuracy.

-Identify situations that require engineering change requests.

-Create non-conformance reports for defective material.

-Expedite material according to requirements by building vendor relations.

-Generate, analyze, and interpret reports using Excel to track and manage the material flow.

-Work with vendors to resolve EDI issues on POs, invoices, and ASN issues.

-Assists purchasing management with the development of presentations on negotiation strategies for executive management.
