As the Maintenance Planner I assisted in the development, planning, coordination of projects and preventative maintenance program. Responsibilities included the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures, standard maintenance procedures, contracted services, and upgrades.

Developed maintenance plans to include man hours, materials, support services, and ensuring that all safety requirements were met prior to beginning the project.

Monitored and track internal labor and materials utilizing the JDE work order system. Reviewed work order back logs and flow to verify that all jobs were complete and documented for maintenance audits.

Worked closely with Operations, Process engineers, and Engineering to improve or create processes that would alleviate operator issues, correct known machine weaknesses and improve the process for a smoother workflow while increasing both product output and efficiency during normal plant operations.

Responsible for finding cost savings by utilizing vendors that provide parts and services that are equal to or better than those provided by the OEM. If the part is obsolete, I was responsible for finding the direct or engineering replacement for the part along with providing the affected parties with the changes, whether logic in the program or a physical change to the installation of the part.
